What Gets Deleted<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon confirmed account deletion, the following data is <strong>permanently deleted<\/strong> from our systems:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your account profile (name, email, phone, country, language preference)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your hashed password<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your active session tokens (you are immediately logged out)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your consent records (privacy policy, T&amp;C, marketing preferences)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your membership status and membership end date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your restaurant interactions (visited and want-to-visit lists)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your push notification token (you will no longer receive notifications)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your timezone preference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>5. What Is Retained &#8211; and Why<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certain data cannot be deleted immediately and is subject to a retention period for legal and operational reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Payment &amp; Invoice Records (Stripe)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Stripe customer record and associated invoices are <strong>not deleted<\/strong> upon account removal. This is required to comply with applicable financial and tax legislation (including EU VAT regulations), which mandates the retention of invoice and transaction records for a minimum of <strong>7 years<\/strong> from the date of the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the retention period, these records are deleted in accordance with Stripe&#8217;s data retention policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>Soft-Deletion for Former Private Club Members<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you were a Private Club member at the time of your deletion request, your account may be <strong>soft-deleted<\/strong> first (your data is marked as deleted and rendered inaccessible) before being permanently removed. This is a technical safeguard to ensure billing records remain consistent and verifiable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hard (permanent) deletion follows in line with our standard data removal process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>6.
